  • I love Hot Cross Buns. I love the spiced, sweet taste and delicious aroma it creates when they are in the oven baking. They are traditionally eaten around Easter but I've found a way to make a Christmas version them... just pipe a Christmas tree instead of the cross with the flour paste. The possibilities are endless 😊 Two things I've learned: pipe the trees right before they go in the oven to prevent dripping and to cover the buns, after 10 minutes or so, with aluminium foil to prevent browning of the trees.
